The RSS is the official name for the McCloud Options Pack sent AFTER an affected member has retired, with Remedy Period options. It shows 2 options, standard and alternative, for an affected member’s pension during the Remedy Period – Legacy Scheme or 2015 Scheme.
Ideally, members who are retiring now would have the choice at the point of retirement but NHS Pensions can’t do that yet, so everyone (eventually) gets the choice after their pension payments have started.
