About Pen-gage
The pensions industry has been trying to improve engagement for years. This has often led to a focus on compliance and detail, which has actually disengaged people.
In 2018 we created Pen-gage to do it differently. And it’s not as hard as it seems. Our focus is to get people to take action, not to sell them anything.
We are successful because we make a difference. This led to our small firm being Highly Commended in the category of Financial Education Provider of the Year at the 2021 Workplace Savings & Benefit Awards.

Who we are - Meet the team
Laura has worked in the pension sector since 1997, building deep expertise in public sector pension schemes and the ways individuals engage with their retirement benefits. She founded Pengage in 2018 to bridge the gap between complex pension language and real-world understanding—empowering people to make informed decisions about their financial futures.
As Director and Lead Consultant, Laura oversees all technical developments at Pengage. She specialises in delivering advanced pension analysis and scenario modelling, helping clients navigate key issues such as the McCloud remedy, annual allowance assessments, and retirement planning. Her clear, empathetic approach ensures that even the most complex topics become accessible and actionable.
Laura has achieved the Qualification in pensions administration and holds PRINCE2 certification. She regularly collaborates with pension organisations and advisors to promote best practice and knowledge sharing across the sector. She is also a sought-after speaker, delivering webinars and educational sessions to large audiences across the UK.
