What is Pensions Modelling?

Our Pension Review provides pension analysis and modelling for YOU using YOUR information – a personalised one-to-one service.

Modelling involves calculations to provide your pension estimates for up to 4 difference scenarios which might be

different retirement dates
changing your working pattern (which could be full-time, part-time or a change in part-time hours)
when to take your pensions from different Schemes

What will I get?

We’ll review the information you provide (we ask for a lot of information to make sure your pension records are right and tell you if something doesn’t look right). We then produce pension estimates and create a tailored, personal report which sets out your scenarios and includes an overview of the McCloud Remedy and flexible retirement to help your understanding. We also include Maximum Lump Sum and McCloud Remedy options (where you have been affected) for each scenario. Your meeting will be on Microsoft Teams (which is free to use) so you need to be able to use Teams and it’s useful to check the meeting link works for you before the time of your meeting.

What's not covered?

We don’t give financial advice, so cannot advise which option to take.

Additional scenarios may not be covered and would be treated as an extra piece of work (and extra charge).

We won’t liaise directly with your Pension Scheme(s) or other third parties but will support you if you need to check or otherwise contact the scheme for additional information.

Any Annual Allowance work or other pensions tax checks are a separate service, please ask us if you also need this support.

Any Contingent Decision from the McCloud Remedy is a separate service, again, please ask us if you also need this support.

How much does it cost?

Our charge for this service is between £450 + VAT and £700 + VAT

We’ll discuss the level of complexity in your case, agree the cost and we’ll email you the invoice after your meeting.

Do I have to remember everything from my meeting?

No, we’ll send you your report and you can add notes.
