An online meeting (MS Teams) with one of our Pensions Consultants for (up to) 25 minutes to help you fill in your forms to claim your pension (retire)

What is a Retirement Forms Meeting?

We’ll help you understand how to complete your pension claim forms

  • the right information in the right boxes
  • ticks/crosses to ensure you’re going to get what you think you’re asking for
  • leaving blank the sections that should be blank (or are for your employer to fill in)

This will be for your specific circumstances so you can make sure your form is correct, for up to 25 minutes.

What's not covered?

We won’t work out your pension calculations or carry out full analysis of any estimates you have received, and we don’t offer financial advice sessions so can’t advise on options.

You should already have decided what size/proportion lump sum you want to take, and which scheme(s) you want to claim pension from.

How do I prepare for the meeting?

You will be asked to complete an online form for the type of support you’re requesting (Retirement Forms).  Make sure you have a copy of your Retirement/Pension Claim forms so you can fill them in.

Your meeting will be on Microsoft Teams (which is free to use) so you need to be able to use Teams and it’s useful to check the meeting link works for you before the time of your meeting.

Who is my Pensions Consultant?

We have a small team of pensions experts – Laura, Kerry or Gilly will be there to help you.

How much does it cost?

Our charge for this service is £125 + VAT (£150 in total).

We’ll email you the invoice after your meeting.

Do I have to remember everything from my meeting?

No, we’ll send you a note summarising the meeting but you can take your own notes, too.
