Laura founded the business in 2018 because she realised that employers and trustees who wanted to improve employee/member engagement rarely received the help and support they wanted. Prior to this, she was Head of Training & Support Services at MyCSP, where she led the team delivering high quality engagement sessions to in the Civil Service employers. Her early career was in pension administration which gave her a strong technical insight into how benefits are calculated and the concerns members have. Laura delivers education sessions on mid-career, pre-retirement and pensions taxation. She regularly carries out one to one sessions with senior civil servants and NHS employees on how best to manage their Annual and Lifetime Allowance issues. She lives just outside Newcastle upon Tyne with her husband Peter.
