The McCloud consultation outcome was published in February 2021 and we delivered our first member engagement session on this in April 2021. We presented a series of webinars for a major public sector employer who was keen for their people to be aware of what was happening, how it impacts their benefits and to avoid unnecessary anxiety.
There were typically 15 people in each webinar, each of whom had been invited by their employer. The objectives of each session were to;
- Help attendees better understand the headlines of the McCloud consultation outcome;
- Put members minds at rest that they would lose out or be faced with decisions they would not know how to make;
- Empower individuals to start to think more about their own situation.
